Welcome!!
Happy to provide efficient supportive fun USEFUL experiences/ sessions
for counsellors/ therapists and healthcare providers!
Some of jeff’s thoughts on Clinical support/ supervision sessions
Wanting ALL counsellors/ therapists to have liberal access to clinical support sessions; to have an opportunity to confidentially discuss issues related to their work.
I see the work counsellors do as tremendously powerful and demanding. As such I feel honoured and privileged to support counsellors anyway I can.
I am committed to collaboratively work with each counsellor to ensure our sessions stay on track toward what might be most useful/ nourishing for the counsellor that day and beyond.
For example a session may include a counsellor simply wanting to explore and express how they feel about a certain client’s situation. Or a counsellor may wish to brainstorm various ways to respond to a client’s interest in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Or a counsellor may want to express how hard it is to see their own child demonstrate no interest in sports. All issues are welcome in the clinical support sessions I offer.
I see all issues counsellors bring to their sessions as relevant to who they are; consequently relevant to the work they do with the; people they support/ clients/ patients etc.
I also recognize as a cisgender, heterosexual, academically educated white male, of considerable vintage; I have privileged experiences and blind spots.
That said, I like to think I bring a genuine generous unique mix of humility, care, humour, education, energy, and experience to support the sessions being useful, empowering, and fun.
